Now you can adopt a part of history. Your contribution today helps to ensure that the educational and historic mission of the Old North Foundation will endure for generations to come. By adopting a windowpane in the Old North, your name will be added to the list of royalty, dignitaries, diplomats, and American citizens who join in a common purpose: to keep the Old North shining as an enduring signal of liberty for all the world.

The original window, through which Robert Newman narrowly escaped British troops after displaying the two signal lanterns in the Old North's steeple, was seal shut in 1815, and rediscovered during a restoration project in 1989. It now houses the Third Lantern lit by President Gerald R. Ford on April, 18 1975, as a symbol of our nation's renewed resolve for the next century of liberty.
